The intersection of Delancey Street--a major 8-lane artery of downtown Manhattan--and Orchard Street--a historic shopping thoroughfare now home to over 100 galleries--is the beating heart of the Lower East Side, a neighborhood recognized internationally as a vanguard of art, music, fashion and all things culture.
